My Dear Colleagues:
I hope this finds you safe at your homes along with your family members.
You are all aware of the fact that the State of West Bengal and the entire Nation, the world is reeling under the COVID-19 scare. While you are all doing your best to fight the menace, you would also agree that funds are a big need at this hour of crisis, when hundreds are affected directly while the required lockdown is very adversely affecting the poor, daily-wage earners more so in the unorganised sector. Relief and rehabilitation of the victims of pandemic is going to be an important task before the Government.
Thus, in the wake of the situation and in right earnest, I like to very humbly request you to kindly donate voluntarily to the WEST BENGAL STATE EMERGENCY RELIEF FUND, which has 100% exemption / deduction under section 80G of the Income Tax Act.
