📘 About the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020

The National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 is a transformative vision introduced by the Government of India to reshape the education system to meet the demands of the 21st century. It emphasizes:
  • Holistic, Multidisciplinary Education across all levels.
  • Flexibility in Course Choices and Multiple Entry-Exit Options.
  • Emphasis on Skill Development, Critical Thinking, and Research Orientation.
  • Promotion of Mother Tongue/Regional Languages as a medium of instruction.
  • Establishment of the Academic Bank of Credits (ABC) for seamless credit transfers.
  • Multiple entry and Multiple exit
  • Encouraging Digital Learning and Online Education Platforms.
The NEP aims to make education more inclusive, accessible, equitable, and innovative, with the goal of achieving a Gross Enrollment Ratio (GER) of 50% by 2035.

🎓 NEP Student Ambassador –

To ensure active student participation in implementing NEP, our university proudly introduces the NEP Student Ambassador Program. This initiative allows selected students to serve as NEP Ambassadors, acting as a bridge between students and the institution to spread awareness and support policy implementation.

👤 Role of a NEP Student Ambassador:

  • Represent the student body in NEP-related forums and initiatives.
  • Organize workshops, discussions, and awareness campaigns on NEP objectives.
  • Assist in collecting feedback from students on the implementation of NEP in the curriculum.
  • Promote new academic practices like Multidisciplinary Learning, Internships, and Skill-Based Courses.
  • Coordinate with university leadership and faculty on innovative education reforms.
