NOTIFICATION
In the light of the G.O. No. 239(2)-AG-12019(13)/19/2020-EDU SEC dated 03.02.2026 issued by the Department of Agriculture, Govt. of West Bengal, the Vice-Chancellor has been pleased to continue with the process of Career Advancement Scheme (CAS) for teachers of different establishments of this University. In respect of all cases where the career advancement was due on and from 01/01/2025, the scheme will be guided by the G.O. No. 239(2)-AG-12019(13)/19/2020-EDU SEC dated 03.02.2026. In respect of all other cases where the career advancement fell due prior to 01/01/2025, the same will continue to be guided by G.O. 2246(2)-AG-12019(13)/19/2020-EDU SEC dated 19.07.2024. The terms and conditions as laid down in the G.O.s as aforesaid including service conditions of the teachers shall be available on website of the University.
The eligible teachers may submit their application latest by 27th February 2026 to the office of the undersigned through proper channel in prescribed proforma along with all relevant documents as well as Ph.D. certificate (if any) as and when they may have become eligible. Those who have already applied for CAS and whose date of eligibility is on and from 01/01/2025, asked to apply afresh in accordance with G.O. No. 239(2)-AG-12019(13)/19/2020-EDU SEC dated 03.02.2026. Copy of the prescribed proforma may be downloaded from University website www.ubkv.ac.in.
